Christ. From 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. every
Sunday morning first through fifth graders
can experience Bible adventures on the big
screen with an emphasis on activities and
fun.

       Wed. Nights at 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., we have fun and learn how the
   previous Sunday morning lesson can fit into your daily life. The lessons
     are taught through games, crafts and other activities so come join us!

SUNDAY, February 12th, BIBLE LESSON

MEMORY VERSE: "By faith, Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and He who had received the promises offered up His only begotten Son." Hebrews 11:17

Since this is Valentine week, the lesson today is about LOVE. Did you know that there is a chapter in the Bible that is devoted to "love"? Take a look at I Corinthians 13. Our lesson today is based on this chapter that teaches us how to love. It sounds so easy, doesn't it. Well, actually, loving is easy, until something goes wrong. Then, too often, we just stop loving. We are so blessed that God never stops loving us no matter what we do or say or think. He loves us so much that He made a way possible for us to spend eternity (forever) with Him in heaven. He brought His only Son to earth and allowed Him, a sinless being, to be tortured and to die on a cross so we could have our sins forgiven and get to be with Him forever. Oh, of course, He didn't stay dead. He came out of His grave and walked the earth again before going back to heaven to live at the right hand of His Father. God is the greatest teacher of all to teach us about "love". Happy Valentine's Day

MEMORY VERSE: "If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer." Matthew 21:22

Would you do anything God asked you to do? Now, think about that for a minute. Actually, the question is, "How big is your faith in God?" Abraham waited for many years to have a child. Finally, when he and his wife were very old, they were blessed with a son named Isaac. They were so happy and loved him more than anything - except not more than God. God actually tested Abraham's faith one day. Abraham passed the test. Do you kow what that test was? It involved his only son, Isaac. To find out more about Abraham's unshakeable faith, come listen to the story and read about it in the Bible in Genesis 21:1-35:29

There's always more to learn from the Bible. In our Christianity, we have nothing, if we don't have faith. Tonight, we will learn more about faith, Abraham and Isaac. You can also take a good look at your own faith. How do you think your faith compares to Abraham's faith in God?
